5 Rivers Volunteers

We appreciate your interest in volunteering at 5 Rivers!

Are you 18 or older?  Do you enjoy meeting new people and working with students of all ages? 5 Rivers is always on the lookout for friendly volunteers to work in different positions at our nature facility.

These are the volunteer positions we would like to fill:

1.  Story Teller - We have StoryTime every Tuesday from 10am-11am.  Setup is an additional 30 minutes at the beginning and 30 minutes at the end, so total time weekly is Tuesday from 9:30am-11:30am.   Your audience is preschoolers, and we have many different stories to choose from.  Story pictures go up on the big screen, and you can have as much fun as you like perfecting your frog or squirrel voices!  After the story is read, follow it up with a fun preschooler craft that reinforces the story.  If this sounds like something you would like, fill out an application and write in "StoryTime Volunteer".
