Public Meeting to Discuss New Shooting Range in Marengo County

What: The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division is hosting an open house meeting to discuss the construction of a proposed public shooting range at the former Marengo County landfill located at 17366 County Road 44 in Linden, Alabama. This is an opportunity for the public to view a set of blueprints and ask questions regarding the design, operation, and maintenance of the proposed range. 

When: Thursday, December 7, 2006

Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Where: The Marengo County Courthouse located at 101 East Coats Avenue in Linden, Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama’s natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Parks, State Lands, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
